It will also include the return of IR cards from the previous game - which grant players bonus items, monsters, and attributes - and the developer has expanded them into its own full-fledged trading card game. The game features solo play with an AI companion as well as split-screen co-op. Its combat system includes new elements such as air combos, while monsters can have different tactics assigned. They can also defeat Revenants, once great heroes whose spirits wander the world, to gain powerful summons. The game sees using the Sword of the Necromancer to resurrect defeated monsters as allies. It takes place two years after the events of the previous game, though the developer promises that newcomers will be able to jump in and understand its events without playing the first game. ![]() The game sees players traveling across the world, including assisting with the restoration of the Sacred City of Euda to gain access to more facilities, while trying to vanquish the Necromancer once and for all.
